Our impact is focused primarily in two locations in Kenya: Turkana, the northwest desert region, and Old Town Mombasa, in the southeastern coastal region. Turkana County is the most impoverished out of all 47 counties in Kenya. Mombasa faces an unemployment rate of 44%, a staggering figure compared to Kenya's national average unemployment rate of 5.4%. Through dignified work, ethical wages, and holistic care programs that uplift the WHOLE person, Imani Collective is empowering individuals in these regions to break the cycle of poverty and radically change the trajectory of future generations.
